Our journey
Zoom Film Productions is a Sri Lankan Film Studio and Production Company founded in the year 2013 by Deepika Kaluarachchi. Zoom Film Studio has been the gold standard for storytelling and moviemaking in the Sri Lankan Film Industry. We are the first company to film and produce Sri Lanka’s first 3D Movie
The film Zoom is the first product of the company which was commenced as the first project of the company in 2013. It was the first 3D film, which was produced completely in Sri Lanka, where the technology itself was a success of a research done by the technical crew under the guidance of the production team. It was the film which had the highest demand for the television and DVD rights in Sri Lanka apart from screening for the last couple of years.
The most important fact about the company is it is independently with the post production facilities as it has its own studio, which can proceed with audio and video post productions including dubbing, Foley and VFX.
‘The Horn’ was the second film of Zoom Film Studio released in 2020. ‘The horn’ movie set a box office record more than horror films ever released in Sri Lanka.
The third production to be produced by Zoom Film Studio is ‘Good Earth’ At the request of many, the film ‘Good Earth’ is being produced in English language. Therefore, it has been decided to release ‘Good Earth’ in 2024 for horror movie audiences around the world.
However, the Pandemic has made us strive for the best as we want to reshape the future of the movie industry; and this time we want to do it internationally. Our goals, Vision and Mission extends beyond what we have achieved so far. We at Zoom Film Studios are working day and night; shedding blood, sweat and tears to not only set records in the local cinema entertainment but to be globally recognized in our upcoming international film projects that we hope to do entirely in English. Our plans aimed at achieving our goals are being aligned and executed at this very moment

Roses On Canvas
‘Roses on Canvas’ is the fourth production produced by Zoom Film Studio. The film has been decided to release in theaters worldwide in 2025 for romance and drama audiences
Good Earth
The third production to be produced by Zoom Film Studio is ‘Good Earth’. It has been decided to release in 2024 for psychology and thriller movie audiences around the world.
